Need more capacity? We have a trusted and vetted network of transporters that we can deploy for your every need.
One partner and one platform, delivering better performance across your operation:
- Lower cost per order and per kg delivered
- More deliveries per day, driving higher revenue
- Better vehicle utilisation and fill rate
- Full visibility and control of your operations
Trusted by manufacturers, distributors and logistics leaders
A smart control tower that learns from every trip.
The Fleet Planner platform has been built with the latest technology and AI to create a customisable control tower that fits your business needs. Your orders flow from your ERP into the Fleet Planner engine, which plans, optimises and orchestrates the work across your own fleet, riders, truck 3PLs and cold chain partners.
Live data from every delivery flows back into the engine, so routes, loads and carrier choices keep improving. You receive proof of delivery and performance reporting on every order.
Need us to manage something else? We can custom-build a control tower for your specific needs. Talk to us
Paying for transport you don’t need.
Across Kenya, goods move through a patchwork of company trucks, hired riders and couriers. Each has its own invoices and paperwork, and nobody has one view of what actually happened on the road.
No central dispatch
Routes are planned by habit, vehicles leave half full and service levels are agreed but never measured.
No proof
No reliable chain of custody or proof of delivery, so disputes and losses are hard to trace.
Hidden leakage
Fuel misuse, idle time and off-route trips stay invisible inside a monthly transport bill.
No management or performance data
Leaders cannot say what one delivery really costs, or whether a change made things better.
Our proven four step process.
Baseline
We analyse around 90 days of your order and trip data to set your true cost per order and find where it leaks.
Proof of concept
A short, fixed-fee pilot on part of your network, with the measures of success agreed up front.
Managed service
We take over planning, dispatch and partner management, with a dedicated account manager on your account.
Monthly review
Cost per order, vehicle utilisation and route adherence reported every month, and fed back into the next plan.
Independent by design, focused on your results.
Because we are not selling vehicle hours, our only incentive is to make your whole network cheaper and more reliable. We choose the right carrier for every job, whether that is your own fleet, your existing transporters or a partner from our vetted network, and we hold every one of them to the same standard.
Engineers of everyday logistics.
Fleet Planner Limited was founded in Nairobi in 2024 to give Kenyan businesses something they rarely have: full control of their transport without having to run it themselves.
Built by people who have run supply chains.
Our founders have spent their careers inside supply chains, from consulting to running distribution for large Kenyan businesses. Time and again we saw the same picture: transport was one of the biggest costs on the P&L, and one of the least understood.
Fleet Planner exists to fix that. We act as a fourth party logistics provider (4PL): a single control tower that plans, coordinates and measures every vehicle, rider and partner moving your goods. We combine our own technology platform with an on-the-ground team and a vetted network of local 3PL partners.
We are based in Karen, Nairobi, and serve clients across East Africa.
Four principles behind every plan.
How we decide which carrier moves your goods, and how we hold every one of them to account.
Neutral
We always choose the right carrier for the job, not the one we need to keep busy.
Measured
Every decision is tied to cost per order, service level and vehicle utilisation.
Accountable
One partner, one contract and one person to call, however many carriers move your goods.
Local
Local routes, local partners and a team that is on site with you, not behind a call centre.
The people behind the tower.
Engineers, operators and business people who have planned, operated and fixed supply chains all over the world and across East Africa.

GetBoda grew to over 1,000 registered riders and, through a partnership with Mercy Corps' Youth Impact Labs, created about 1,000 work opportunities for young couriers.

Managed transport, run from one control tower.
We take responsibility for how your goods move, from order management to route planning and delivery execution, before finally reconciling each trip after the last drop.
What is a 4PL control tower?
A third party logistics provider (3PL) is an external company that manages and executes transportation, warehousing and fulfilment operations on behalf of a business. A 3PL owns or operates the trucks, riders or warehouses that physically move and store your goods, and is paid to run those assets.
A fourth party logistics provider (4PL) is a supply chain management strategy which sits one level above. A 4PL is an externally appointed partner who manages the integration of logistics services, technology and processes on behalf of a business. The 4PL designs the network, plans and optimises the work, chooses and contracts the 3PL carriers, and measures the performance of all the operational assets, acting as your single point of contact with overall responsibility for the performance of the entire ecosystem.
The control tower is where all of this comes together: one place, part software and part people, where every order, vehicle, driver and partner is visible in real time. Our team watches the tower every day and acts on what they see, re-routing work, chasing a late delivery or flagging a vehicle that has left its route. Every trip feeds back into the system, so each plan is better than the last.
Conventional transporter vs Fleet Planner
The same trucks can deliver very different results depending on who plans and measures them.
| Conventional 3PL or transporter | Fleet Planner 4PL control tower | |
|---|---|---|
| Role | Moves goods with company-owned vehicles | Plans, coordinates and manages the whole network |
| Incentive | Sell more trips and vehicle days | Lower your cost per order and raise service levels |
| Carriers | Only the provider's own fleet | Your fleet, your transporters and vetted partners for each lane |
| Visibility | Limited to the provider's own trucks | Every vehicle and order on one live platform |
| Accountability | Separate contracts and invoices per provider | One partner accountable end to end |
| Data | Delivery notes and monthly invoices | Cost per order, utilisation, fill rate and route adherence |
We still rely on excellent 3PLs. The difference is that we manage them for you, inside one ecosystem, so you get the capacity of many carriers with the control of one.
Everything it takes to move your goods.
Six services, one accountable partner. Use one, or let us run the whole network.
Control tower and dispatch
Live oversight of every order and vehicle, with a dedicated account manager running daily dispatch for you.
Route and load planning
Routes optimised ahead of each dispatch window to cut kilometres, trips and vehicles while filling every load.
In-house fleet management
Keep your own vehicles and drivers. We take over their planning, route adherence, fuel monitoring and reporting.
Managed 3PL network
We manage your existing transporters, or supply upcountry, linehaul and extra capacity from our vetted partners.
Rider management
Last-mile rider networks run on clear service levels, with pay linked to completed orders and distance travelled.
Monitored and regulated deliveries
GPS tracked vehicles, chain of custody and proof of delivery for pharmaceuticals, lab specimens and high value goods, with security escort where needed.
The platform behind the tower.
Our clients see the same live picture our control tower team sees.
Route optimisation
Plans built from your real orders, vehicles and delivery windows.
Driver and rider app
Job lists, navigation and electronic proof of delivery on every drop.
Live tracking
GPS and IoT monitoring of every vehicle, including temperature where it matters.
ERP integration
Orders flow in from your existing systems, so nobody retypes a delivery note.
Planned vs actual
Every trip compared with its plan, so off-route driving and delays are caught.
Management reporting
Cost per order, utilisation and fill rate, ready for your finance team and board.
Simple, transparent fees.
We charge a clear management fee, per order or per month, agreed in advance. You see every partner cost on the platform.
Every engagement starts with a short paid pilot, so you can judge the results on your own data before committing. On some accounts we go further and share in the savings we create, so our reward is tied directly to yours.
Trusted by manufacturers, distributors and logistics leaders.
From household goods and beverages to medicines and chilled meat, our clients move very different things. What they share is a need to know where every order is and what it costs.
